Let's go into the details of the itinerary!

Day 1

Arrival at the airport. Transfer to Yerevan for Dinner and check-in. Overnight: Overnight: Hotel in Yerevan Meals: Dinner

After arrival we will head to the hotel. After check-in and a short relax we head to the nearby restaurant for a delicious Armenian dinner.

Day 2

Yerevan city tour- History Museum-Cascade complex-Opera Square- Republic Square- Ararat Brandy Factory- Genocide Memorial and Museum

We start the tour with a city tour in Yerevan. First we enjoy the view of the city from the top of Victory Park. After we drive to Charle Aznavour’s house and start walking down the Cascade complex. At the bottom of the complex the car will be waiting to take us to the History Museum. Lunch at Yerevan (Abovyan12) After we drive to Ararat Brandy Factory to trace back through the history of Armenian cognac and have tasting. You will end the day at Genocide Memorial and Museum. Evening Dinner at Megerian Carpet Factory. Overnight: Hotel in Yerevan Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/Dinner

Day 3

Yerevan-Garni Pagan Temple -Geghard Monastery

Early morning drive to Garni Pagan Temple and Geghard monastery. Garni Pagan Temple has always been the royal residence of Armenian Kings. It amazes with its architectural style and gorges surrounding the complex. Then we drive down to the gorge of the Temple to enjoy the view of the natural monument- the Symphony of Stones. Lunch with Lavash baking masterclass. Drive to Geghard monastery which is a UNESCO heritage site with its rock hewed out chapels. We will have a chance to listen to a spiritual choir inside the monastery. Overnight: Hotel in Yerevan Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/Dinner

Day 4

Yerevan-Armenian Alphabet Park-Ohanavank Monastery- Armenian Wine Museum-Agarak Archaeological site-Byurakan

This day we head to Armenian Alphabet Park to discover the amazing story of the Armenian golden soldiers. After we have a visit to Ohanavank monastery which is a middle age period pearl of Armenian architectural heritage standing by the gorge of Qasakh river. After we drive to Armenian Wine museum (12:30) to get acquainted with the 6100 years old history of winemaking in the Armenian Highlands. Lunch and Wine tasting at Yeganyan Family. You will have a tour at Agarak Archaeological site to discover an Early Bronze age period Wine traditions and sacred rituals in the Armenian Highlands. Drive to Byurakan village to have a tour at Chir’s House and get acquainted with organic strawberry and dried fruit production. Overnight: Hotel in Yerevan Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/Dinner

Day 5

Khor Virap monastery- Vayots Dzor Region-Areni caves- Noravank- Karahunj-Goris Town

Early morning check-out and drive towards the wine route of Armenia to Vayots Dzor region. This day we are going to have long drive to Syunik region. On the way we will stop at Khor Virap monastery to have the closest view of Mt. Ararat and visit the monastery which symbolizes the start of Christianity in Armenia. After we will drive another hour to visit Areni caves which is the only complete winery in the region boasting 6100 years of history. Following the Areni caves we have a visit to Noravank monastery which amazes with its architectural style nestled among the red rocks in the heart of Vayots Dzor region. Noravank Monastery was constructed in the 13th century, during the flourishing period of Armenian architecture under the rule of the Orbelian dynasty. Lunch at Areni. After lunch we have a long drive to Goris town in the Syunik region of Armenia. On the way to Goris we will have a stop at Armenian Stonehenge or Karahunj. This a unique place to indulge into positive energy vibes and hear 7500 years old astronomical studies and discoveries in Armenia. Further drive to Goris town for dinner and overnight. Check in at Hotel in Goris. Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/Dinner

Khor Virap monastery- Vayots Dzor Region-Areni caves- Noravank- Karahunj-Goris Town

Day 6

Goris-Khndzoresk cave Village- Tatev monastery – Eghegis Village Breakfast at the hotel. Check out.

Early morning drive to Khndzoresk cave village. We pass through the swinging bridge to enjoy the walk in the ancient cave dwellings. After we drive to Tatev wings to take Tatever cable car which is recognized as the longest reversible cable car in the world to fly to Tatev monastery. Lunch at Tatev village. Visit to Tatev Monastery renowned for its medieval architectural style and its role as a major cultural and educational center in medieval Armenia. It’s one of the unique places where one can discover the combination of religious, economic, educational, defensive architectural style. After tour we head to Eghegis village. Overnight: in Eghegis Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/Dinner

Day 7

Eghegis-Zorats Church-Selim caravanserai- Lake Sevan-Hayravank church-Yerevan

Breakfast at the hotel. Check -out. In the morning you will enjoy the amazing landscape walking through the village to St. Zorats church . The views, high rocks, flower fields, mountain goats jumping on the rocks will create a lifelong memory for you in this village. On the way to lake Sevan we will have a short stop at the Orbelian Caravanserai, a historic inn along the Silk Road, offering insights into Armenia's rich trade history. Continue the journey to Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in the world, known for its stunning beauty and recreational activities. Here we can visit Hayravank monastery which is a small early middle age period pearl standing by the Lake Sevan. Lunch at the shores of Lake Sevan. Further drive to Yerevan. Overnight: Hotel in Yerevan. Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/Dinner

Day 8

Yerevan- Vernisagge Flea Market-Gum Market- Echmiadzin Cathedral- Aluria winery.

Check-out and drive to Gum Food Market to have a look at the stores of local fruits, dried fruits, Armenian basturma or lavash and have an unforgettable shopping experience. Visit to Vernissage Flea market to have a look at the local artisans’ works and buy souvenirs. After we drive to Echmiadzin – to have a look at the holy capital of Armenia and the first Christian church built in 303 A.D. We will finish our tour at Aluria winery for farewell lunch and wine tasting. Meals -Breakfast/Lunch Drive to Airport.
