It may sound strange but for many visitors the most notable highlight of Armenia during their visit turns out to be local Armenians. Nowhere in the world you can feel the same warmth, hospitality, open-hearted treatment to you as in Armenia. Here you will encounter people who are always ready to help you, to treat you with different local delicacies, and why not invite you to their homes. Even without planning you can find yourself as a respected guest at some local’s place. In spite of many historical monuments, monasteries and fortresses spread everywhere, you will mostly be impressed by local people. And by looking into these people’s eyes you will discover the long lasting history, the wars they passed through, their victories and loses, the legends and myths depicted in their hearts and eyes, local traditions and habits, their worries covered masterfully under their smiles and happy mood.
