Day 1

Yerevan City Tour

Start your day indulging into the top view of Yerevan from Victory Park. Continue your adventure with a walking tour of Yerevan city center, exploring the amazing modern pieces of art at Cascade complex which is a little European corner of Yerevan. Stroll along the Saryan street which is known as the wine street of Yerevan specialized in serving Armenian wines from all over the country. Walk down towards the Opera House and historic Abovyan Street, known for its vibrant atmosphere and architectural beauty, explore old Yerevan yards with grapevine covers. Continue the walk to the Republic Square with beloved singing and dancing fountains. Lunch at Abovyan12 - enjoy the amazing assortment of traditional Armenian dishes. Make a journey back in time at the Erebuni Fortress and Museum in Yerevan. Explore the ruins of this ancient Urartian fortress, founded in 782 BC, and delve into its rich history. Visit the museum to view artifacts, inscriptions, and exhibits that reveal the early history of Yerevan and the Urartian civilization. Visit to Brutshen Ceramics Studio to get acquainted with the masters and Armenian ceramic making traditions. Have an unforgettable time at the workshop and end your day at Wine Art centre for wine experience around the fireplace. Wine History Traces and Modern Wine Flavors.Terroir in Aragatsotn region

Visit the Agarak Archaeological site, uncovering ancient artifacts and history. Discover the Agarak Archaeological Site, a hidden gem in Armenia that unveils layers of wine history dating back to the Early Bronze Age. Explore ancient structures, rock carvings, wine basins and crunches that offer a glimpse into the wine traditions of Bronze Age period. Visit to Armenia Wine Factory to discover many of the artifacts at the Wine History Museum. Visit Van Ardi winery for an exclusive lunch and wine tasting experience. Tour at the Saghmosavank Monastery, perched on the edge of a picturesque gorge. Saghmosavank Monastery is a testament to Armenia's medieval architectural prowess. Built in the 13th century, this serene monastery is renowned for its intricate stone carvings and panoramic views of the Kasagh River Valley, offering a profound spiritual experience. Return to Yerevan for a relaxing evening. Overnight in Yerevan. Meals: Breakfast/Lunch

Day 3

Wine Estates and Vineyards, Ararat Valley Terroir

Early morning drive to the renowned Karas Wines estate, known for its diverse wine selection and one of the biggest vineyards in Armenia. Here we will drive through the vineyards, enjoy the panoramic view, and have a tour at the factory followed by wine tasting. Next we will visit a family owned Jraghatspanyan Winery and enjoy a delicious lunch accompanied by a wine tasting session. After a delicious lunch comes the history part. We will drive to St. Hripsime Church, a 7th century UNESCO World Heritage site. Depending on the season we can have a tour at the Grape Collection Vineyard to learn about different grape varieties and cultivation techniques. Return to Yerevan for an overnight stay. Day 4

Temples, Cathedrals and Wine, Ararat Valley Terroir

Visit to the majestic Zvartnots Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, stands as a majestic ruin of a 7th-century cathedral that once exemplified Armenian architectural innovation. Its grand circular design and intricate stonework reflect the zenith of early medieval Armenian craftsmanship and the profound spiritual legacy of the region. After we head to explore Echmiadzin Cathedral, the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Echmiadzin is home to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the oldest cathedral in the world. This sacred site, founded in the 4th century, is a center of Armenian Christianity, where ancient traditions and religious ceremonies continue to thrive amidst its historic churches and serene gardens. Savor a wine tasting and lunch at Alluria, a renowned family owned small winery close to Echmiadzin Cathedral. After an amazing time and wine experience we will head to Khor Virap Monastery, offering stunning views of Mount Ararat. Set against the stunning backdrop of Mount Ararat, is one of Armenia's most revered pilgrimage sites. With a history dating back to the 4th century, it is famously known as the place where Saint Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned before leading Armenia to become the first nation to adopt Christianity. Enjoy a wine tasting at Tushpa Winery before returning to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan. Meals: Breakfast/Lunch

A Day of Heritage and Wine in Areni, Vayots Dzor terroir

Begin your day with a visit to the Areni Caves. Discover the ancient secrets of this archaeological site, famous for being the world's oldest known winery and a treasure trove of historical artifacts. Wander through the caves and envision the early winemaking techniques used over 6100 years ago. Travel to the Old Bridge Winery for a delightful wine tasting experience. Sample a selection of their finest wines while learning about the unique terroir of the Areni region. Enjoy the blend of modern winemaking with traditional methods as you sip on robust reds and elegant whites accompanied by family traditions and home made food. Next, journey to the stunning Noravank Monastery, nestled in a gorge among red cliffs. Built in the 13th–14th century, this architectural marvel is renowned for its intricate carvings and dramatic setting. Explore the main church and admire the exquisite stonework of master architect Momik. Continue to the Momik Vineyards, named after the famed architect of Noravank. Stroll through the lush vineyards, meet the winemakers, and gain insight into the cultivation process of the local Areni grape. Relish the scenic views and the opportunity to taste more exceptional wines right at the source. Conclude your day with an overnight stay in the charming village of Areni that is located a few hundred meters away from the famous Areni cave. Explore this fascinating 14th-century structure, used for blessing soldiers and horses before battle. Marvel at its striking architecture and the panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. We continue the route through Vardanyants Pass and drive by Orbelyan Caravanserai to witness old trading routes of The Great Silk Road. Savor a delightful lunch at a charming Château in Martuni. Enjoy a gourmet meal prepared with fresh, local ingredients, set against the backdrop of the beautiful Martuni landscape. Relish the blend of Armenian culinary traditions and refined château dining.
